The Connected Car - the mobile revolution of the 21st century - is getting its own trade fair: ConCarExpo

One of the megatrends of the automobile industry is the networked vehicle. Car2Car, Car2X and Car2mobile are becoming increasingly important.

The development departments of the car manufacturers and suppliers are working at high pressure on innovations with the potential to bring about lasting change in the mobility of the future. Enhanced travel comfort, safety and resource efficiency are just one aspect here. Questions about data protection and the handling of data flows generated by networked vehicles must be resolved, as must the operator and user-friendliness of infotainment and entertainment provisions from the area of consumer electronics.

Technologically, the networked vehicle offers a huge wealth both of challenges and of market opportunities, which demand willingness of all stakeholders to operate across industry boundaries.

ConCarExpo 2017 – the platform for new and technical car connectivity solutions

As a neutral spokesperson for engineers, the Association of German Engineers (Verein der Deutschen Ingenieure e.V. – VDI) is therefore organising ConCarExpo 2017 offering automobile car manufacturers and suppliers the platform on which to present their technical solutions, establish new business models and exchange ideas across industries!

With a successful premiere end of June 2016 the ConCarExpo attracted 1500 visitors to get in touch with 78 exhibitors in Dusseldorf. A fully Review of the ConCarExpo can be found here.
